Our Story
I was born and raised in a small village in central Afghanistan, where my family grew grapes and mulberries. We didn’t just grow them — we lived with them. Every season, we carefully harvested the fruits, dried them under the sun, and sold them in local markets. It was more than work; it was our way of life.
From a young age, I was part of that process. I helped in the fields, picked the fruits by hand, dried them, packed them, and learned what real quality means. Those early days taught me everything I know about how dry fruits should be — simple, natural, and full of real flavor.
As I grew older and traveled the world, I tasted many dry fruits. But nothing ever came close to what I remembered from home. The flavor. The texture. The purity. That idea stayed with me for years — to bring that same quality to the world.
That’s why I started Pomaria.
